Four years ago, I wrote "Post-Election: Now What?" The name of the Republican candidate may have changed, but the rest still rings true today.
What HAS changed is the American climate. The candidate elected has already been in place for 4 years. Some see Obama's second term as a chance to complete all the good things that were started that will save America. Some see this second term as a chance to complete the destruction of our nation.
I would like to take this opportunity to remind both sides of the equation

Top 5 Takeaways from Top Producing Real Estate Agents
![]() |
Top producing Keller Williams Agents (left to right): Andrew Monaghan, Mandi Ross, Jon Brath, and Lou Rugolo |
Ever since 2004, I’ve worked with top producing Realtors,
rookie agents, and everything in between.
Over the years, I’ve noticed that there are certain qualities that
successful agents all have in common. A
recent panel at a Mega Agent Mastermind meeting at Keller Williams SonoranLiving was a fantastic reminder of what separates the successful professional
Realtors from the “hobbyists.”
The event was a panel discussion with four Keller Williams
Mega Agents. Each shared their
expertise, what was working, how they got to where they are, and what they’re
doing to achieve the next steps in their business.
I thought the key takeaways from these four top producers
were so important and vital to the business of any real estate agent that I HAD
to share them with you.

Top 10 Business Texting Etiquette Tips (Know Your Etiquette Series #1)
It's happened to anyone who has done business in the 21st Century. You're meeting/talking/relating to someone eyeball to eyeball. As you are in the middle of a sentence, you lose the connection with those eyeballs the second their smart phone alerts them that a text has been received. In that instant, their attention is diverted as they pull out their phone to check the message.

Know Your Business Etiquette in 2012: Introduction
The other day I was reading the Reader's Digest, where I always find fun jokes, interesting stories, and good advice. As it so happened, I also found the inspiration for this blog series.
I came across an article on modern day manners. The first part of the article explored why we behave the way we do in the 21st Century. Things have changed, like

Social Media Stalking
Social Media Stalking: "Social Media Use Can Bring Hidden Dangers"
It's not about fear, it's about awareness. Too often people don't think about the possible ramifications of their actions. It's true in all aspects of life. The difference in social media is that the information you're putting out there is potentially being broadcast to the whole world.

Historypin: Knowing your place in a whole new way
I'm not going to lie, when I first saw the Mashable article on Historypin, I fully expected to be underwhelmed. Another mapping tool with photos...so what? Then I watched the video introducing Historypin. I love it!
In today's online world, the latest greatest sites, apps, and tools are constantly pushing the envelope on what's new. Historypin does exactly that, but does so in a way that links us to our past. And not just the history book versions of the past. This tool connects us with a very personal version of the past by collecting old photos and giving the user a chance to post the story behind the photos.
Take a look and see what you think about this tool that really DOES help you know your place...and places around the globe:
If I were still in school, I would have loved this resource for creating history projects or papers. As a history buff, I'm still excited about searching the site in my next spare moment. Now....if I could just find an app that would allow me to actually FIND those spare moments!
